Please be sure to include the following information:
- A brief explanation of how the material will be used.
- The book title and author name(s).
- Specific page numbers of the material to be copied or reprinted.
- Your mailing address, phone number, or e-mail address.
If requesting permission to reprint material in an upcoming publication,
please include the title, author, publisher, publication date, estimated
retail price, and print run of your publication. Also specify the territories
for which you are requesting permission (i.e., United States, North America,
World).
Please note that we cannot always grant permission requests. In some instances
(for example, poetry or extracts from children's books) we may not be the
copyright holder and have had to obtain permission to reproduce the material
ourselves. The credit lines that appear on the copyright page list such
material and will guide you to the original source to whom you should apply
for permission.
