Special Edition: New Close-Ups DVD Series

Have you ever read or heard about some of the things that great
teachers do and thought, "I wish I could just spend ten or fifteen
minutes in their classrooms to see how they work"?  Now you can.
Announcing Stenhouse Close-Ups, a new collection of low-cost
professional development videos hosted by Stenhouse teacher-
authors.

Each of these brief, ten- to fifteen-minute classroom vignettes
focuses on an innovative K-12 literacy practice, and comes with a
printed workshop guide that provides an introduction to the topic,
discussion prompts, and classroom extensions--making each DVD a
complete staff development resource that can be used in settings
ranging from individual study to staff meetings to full-day
literacy retreats.

The first four titles in the series are available now. Follow the
links below to download the workshop guides and view sample video
clips!
