Debbie Coughlin is teaching third grade at Gardendale Elementary Magnet School in Merritt Island, Florida. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Arizona with a major in language, reading, and culture and a minor in teaching and teacher education. Her work has been published in several professional journals and been presented at international, national, and local conferences. Debbie's area of interest is literacy and advocacy within the public school system.
