Matt Copeland

After nine years as a high school English teacher, Matt is now a writing consultant for the Kansas State Department of Education. A 2005 Milken National Educator, 2003 Kansas Master Teacher, and 2002 Judith C. Gilbert Oustanding Writing Teacher, Matt is a frequent presenter at local, regional, and national conferences and has published several books, essays, and poems on the teaching of English. He is also currently the president of the Kansas Association of Teachers of English.
