Work stations have also expanded beyond literacy and are proving to be valuable in other content areas, such as math and social studies.
"Many teachers that I work with who are getting literacy work stations going in their classrooms find the structure really workable, and then adapt it to math using their math materials and manipulatives. I also see teachers in upper grades integrating more content area information into their work stations."
