Official Contest Rules

  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.
  • Contest void where prohibited by law.
  • All entries must be received by Stenhouse Publishers on or before 3 PM EST on March 31, 2010.
  • Fill out the entry form (provide your contact information and answer the four-question poll), click submit, and you will be entered to win a free Professional Development Library for your favorite school. Stenhouse Publishers will award a total of one Professional Development Library—comprised of No More I'm Done!, What Student Writing Teaches us, Pyrotechnics on the Page, Article of the Week (DVD), Catching Readers Before They Fall, Igniting a Passion for Reading, Conferring, Small Group Intervention (DVD), Get Graphic!, The CAFE Book, A Sense of Belonging, Think Small! (DVD), Zeroing in on Number and Operations series (4 books), and Metaphors & Analogies—with a retail value of more than $645 to one public or private school in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia selected by the winner.
  • No substitute prizes.
  • One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry invalidates all entries submitted by a person. Chances of an entry being selected are determined by the number of valid entries received during the contest period. Drawing will be random. Order of entry does not apply.
  • All contest entrants and the winner must be legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry to be eligible. Correct e-mail address, State of Residence, and full name must be included on entry form to be a valid entry. Contest entrants may be selected to receive future promotional communication from Stenhouse Publishers. School will be responsible for taxes, if any. Employees and the immediate family members of employees of Stenhouse Publishers or its affiliates are not eligible to submit an entry, compete, or win.
  • All entries must be made through this Web site on the electronic form provided or on a 3” X 5” card which includes the following information: First and Last Names, State of Residence, and E-mail Address, printed twice. On the reverse side of the card, write the following: Yes! Our school could benefit from professional development. Please enter us in the drawing.” Mail the entry form in an envelope to: Stenhouse Publishers PD Library Contest”; Attn.: Marketing; 480 Congress Street, Portland, ME 04101-3400. Entry must be received on or before 3 PM EST on March 31, 2010.
  • Stenhouse Publishers is not responsible for any lost mail or postal delays, any lost, illegible or garbled data, or any computer, Internet or other technical problems in the entry process.
  • Drawing will be conducted by representatives of Stenhouse Publishers on April 1, 2010. The winning entry will be randomly drawn from all valid entries from eligible entrants. To be considered valid, an entry must be complete with full name, State of Residence, and full email address. If the entry drawn is not a valid entry, another entry will be drawn. The winning entry will be notified via e-mail sent to the e-mail address provided. If the initial winning entry does not timely respond or the email address is invalid, a substitute winning entry will be selected. This process will continue until a winner is found and this one prize is awarded to an eligible school.
  • Name, state, and image/photo/likeness of winner could be posted on this Web site and, at the discretion of Stenhouse Publishers, in a media release in the format chosen by Stenhouse Publishers. Winner agrees to this posting and media release without compensation.
