Joanne Monroe is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Clinton Township School District in Annandale, New Jersey. She previously worked as a language arts and social studies supervisor, served as an instructional specialist for the New Jersey Department of Education, and taught primary grades and high school English. She is a past president of the New Jersey Reading Association.
